Ila kizhi

Dhanya amla dhara
Warm sour herbal liquid rhythmically poured all over the body in a special manner for 45 to 60 minutes daily for a period of 7 to 21 days. This is a special therapy to make the channels more open in rhumatic diseases associated with swelling and pain.
Upanaha swedam
Upanaha swedam is a bandaging technique using leaves, cereals, oils, ghee, herbal paste etc. Fomentation is done by applying medicated paste on the joints. Powders of the prescribed herbs should be transformed into paste with salt, lemon or fermented herbal

In this treatment, aromatic, cleansing and regenerative herbs are ground with milk and herbal juices and applied all over the face in the form of a paste (facial fomentation).
